After Lanching 90-hour work in L&T, Chairman launched ‘Bring Wife to work’

0

In a shocking twist of fate, L&T’s visionary Chairperson suggested that employees should stop wasting time at home “staring at their Wife” and instead focus on hitting ambitious 90-hour workweeks. The employees retorted in agitation at this decision. As a method to not lose all their employees, L&T found a middle solution. L&T has introduced a new initiative called “Bring Your Wife to Work Day.” The chairperson’s words “Kitni der tak biwi ko taadoge? Kaam bhi toh karo!” found a passenger seat in the car of labor.

The initiative promises to revolutionize corporate culture. Employees are now encouraged to bring their spouses to the office, where they can either stare at them during chai breaks or, better yet, get them to “help” with Excel sheets. Wife bolegi “Ye bhimai karu???” with their ever-ready annoyed expression. As for husbands, well they never really have a choice.

Workplace Badlaav:

To accommodate this bold vision, L&T offices will now feature:

  • Dual workstations: “Ek chair ka paisa bachayenge, productivity badhyenge !”
  • No-Staring Zones: The chairman will himself patrol with the slogan, “Taadna mana hai, kaam zaroori hai!”
  • Productivity Tracker Alerts: Motivational notifications like “Biwi rahegi sada jab kaam project hoga bada

Employees Reactions

Rajesh Kumar, a senior engineer, said, “Ab toh weekends bhi office me jaayenge. Biwi bolegi, ‘Dinner bana ke lana’ aur boss bolega, ‘Deadline leke aana.’ Dono taraf se phas gaya hoon.”

On the other hand, another female junior analyst, remarked, “kya initiative hai, ab pati phonekatke bhagga nahi, aankho ke samne all day long”

Meanwhile, canteen queues have become a new battlefield, with employees awkwardly balancing plates and romantic stares. One cafeteria worker whispered, “Pehle lunch order hota tha, ab biwi ke liye chai aur samosa order kar rahe hain. Ekdum naya headache shuru ho gaya hai!” The chairperson might have thought it would be easier lekin little does he know, miya biwi 24 hour sath matlab office drama double.

Work Life Balance?

When our farzi reporter reached the ghar jaisa office, we asked officials about concerns regarding work-life balance, the L&T chief laughed and said, “Balance? Woh toh trapeze artists ka kaam hai, engineers to balance banate hai….building me” Aur jor jor see hasne lage

Rumors suggest that the company’s next initiative could be “Office Honeymoons”—because nothing says romance like sharing Wi-Fi and submitting deliverables together.

Disclaimer:
No wives, husbands, or employees were harmed in the making of this policy. But yes, mental peace gaya tel lene.
