L&T has introduced a new initiative called “Bring Your Wife to Work Day.” The chairperson’s words “Kitni der tak biwi ko taadoge? Kaam bhi toh karo!” found a passenger seat in the car of labor.

Employees are now encouraged to bring their spouses to the office, where they can either stare at them during chai breaks or, better yet, get them to “help” with Excel sheets. Rajesh Kumar, a senior engineer, said, “Ab toh weekends bhi office me jaayenge. Biwi bolegi, ‘Dinner bana ke lana’ aur boss bolega, ‘Deadline leke aana.’ Dono taraf se phas gaya hoon.”
On the other hand, another female junior analyst, remarked, “kya initiative hai, ab pati phonekatke bhagga nahi, aankho ke samne all day long”
