After bagging the prestigious Filmfare Award for her OTT debut in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ananya Panday has set her sights on something bigger. In a recent interview, she revealed her aspiration to win an Oscar in the next five days. Yes, you heard it right—FIVE DAYS! And what’s her secret weapon?
Speaking to reporters in her newly designed Oscar-themed living room, sipping on her kale smoothie, which she now calls her “Oscar Smoothie. “, Ananya said, “Mujhe lagta hai sapne dekhna zaroori hai, aur agar aap kuch chahte ho toh pura kainaat aapko Oscar jitane ki saazish mein lag jaati hai.” She declared her goal to win the Oscar Award within five days.
But here’s where things got out of the track. Instead of seeking advice from industry experts, the actress turned to Artificial Intelligence (AI) for a quick fix. “Mujhe laga AI toh sab kuch jaanta hai,” Ananya explained. “Maine pucha, ‘AI bhaiya, Oscar kaise milega 5 din mai?”
The AI, however, was not impressed. Instead of a solid plan, it responded, Yeh meri expertise nahi hai. She responded why it’s not your expertise I have even purchased your subscription. AI responded: Blue tick hata diya jayega agar aap phir se aise sawaal puchenge.”
A visibly shocked Ananya exclaimed, “AI mujhe dhamka raha hai! Yeh toh badtameezi ka level cross kar gaya.”
Despite the AI’s refusal to help, Ananya didn’t lose hope. She announced her “5-Day Oscar Mission,” which includes some rather unconventional steps:
- Starting an online petition titled “Oscar de do please!” which garnered three signatures—her own, her pet dog’s paw print, and a confused delivery agent who came to drop off her avocado toast
- Mailing handmade ladoos to every Oscar member, with a note saying, “Yeh ladoo khaoge toh mujhe Oscar doge.”
When asked about her determination, Ananya said, Mujhe pata hai log mera mazaak udayenge, but mujhe unse ek hi baat kehni hai— ‘Main Oscar ke peeche, Oscar mere peeche, too much fun!”
Meanwhile, Twitter and Instagram exploded with memes. One user wrote, Ananya Panday getting an Oscar in 5 days is like me getting six-pack abs by watching gym reels.” Another added, “5 din mein Oscar jeetne ka asli shortcut: Ek aur Koffee With Karan episode karo.”
The announcement has sent Bollywood into fits of laughter.
